Where Can You Find Nursing Bras For A Larger-Chested Mommy?
When you are a woman who has been naturally endowed with large breasts and need larger nursing bras, it seems like you can't find anything to fit at all. This is especially true since your breasts will tend to get even larger when your milk comes in. Ebay and Amazon are both great places to find plus size nursing bras that actually fit. If you are unsure of how to fit your bra here is a post I did with a video showing exactly how to fit nursing bras.
Here are some large cup size nursing bras from Ebay that are available now:

Medela Womens Sleep Nursing Bra - White Average Rating: ![]() ReviewsI bought this bra (Medela sleep nursing bra) and the La Leche League Cotton/Spandex Pull Over Sleep Nursing Bra #4150. They were both thinner than the sports bras I have, which surprised me a little. I am wondering how they will hold up over time. I am currently 7 months pregnant and am between bra sizes (38B and 40C). This is my fourth baby and in the past I have worn a 40D while nursing, so I am also wondering how these bras will fit then. They do both seem to have sufficient stretch so I'm not too worried on that count. I have the size XL in the LaLeche bra, and L in the Medela bra, based on other reviewers' recommendations. They both fit about the same on me, although the LaLeche bra is cut really high under my armpits, and then the straps are a bit too narrow for comfort. Maybe this will improve when I "fill out" the cups a bit more after giving birth. The bands on both seem pretty snug, but then my ribcage is starting to push out from the pregnancy, so maybe that will be better, too. The LaLeche band is tightest. If I buy anymore, I'd get the Medela over the LaLeche, or maybe try something else. Some reviewers said that one of these is cut too short. I am one who always has to adjust the bras I buy to make them shorter, and I would say these are both borderline - almost too short for me! The thing that makes these nicer than my sports bras is the crossover design - keeps the "ladies" separate, as someone said, and will work a lot better for nursing than a sports bra. So, I guess they're worth it. I would like to see one made a little more substantially, though, since they cost so much more than sports bras. I LOVE this sleep bra! It is so comfortable, I hate it when it's dirty and I have to make due with another sleep bra until this one is clean again. I want to buy another as soon as I can! It's definitely worth the money! I am not sure what Medela is thinking when it comes to bra sizing and pregnant/nursing moms. I was smaller before I got pregnant, 36 B, and have already outgrown the XL size at 36-38 DD. Although I found this bra comfortable to sleep in before it became too small, I am very disappointed that they do not offer other sizes beyond S-XL, not even on the web. Seems like if they were the leading brand for nursing moms everywhere they would have a better variety in sizes with an understanding of pregnancy boobs! I need a comfortable sleep bra that is realistic, not tiny. Very frustrating. good sleeping bra. Order 1 or two sizes larger, runs very small. I am 34C and ordered Large. Too short under breasts and in back. Have since purchased the Barelythere Women's Microfiber Crop Tops at Kohls (also available on Amazon) and LOVE them! |

Bravado Seamless Nursing Bra List Price: $49.00 Average Rating: ![]() ReviewsI love this bra..I am a first time mom and was kinda new to finding the right bra that would fit comfortably and yet easy to feed. My baby eats! and when she is hungry there is no time to wait in trying to undo the snaps and this bra is extremely easy..to open and close one handed! I love how it fits, so comfortable..I bought it in every color! The only disappointment is the padded inserts they are just that ..inserts not attached to the bra so when you wash your bra you have to remove and clean and then reinsert to fit correctly..its a litte troublesome, but worth it in the long run. Overall..highly recommend for a nursing bra Comfortable and flattering. And durable so far. I like it better than the Medela Comfort Nursing Bra ( that one is comfortable too, but has big sports bra straps). I started using this bra in the final weeks of my pregnancy because it provided decent support without the hateful underwire that had been digging into my ribs once I hit the second trimester. Once baby arrived, I had to go back to my larger night-time sports-bra style bra for the first couple of weeks as milk came in, but I was able to start using this bra again by the beginning of week three. I purchased the Large size based entirely on recommended manufacturer measurements. I'm normally a 36 D to DD pre-pregnancy and this bra has worked out wonderfully. I might have gone for the X-Large, but I probably would have been swimming in it. The shoulder snaps are easy to manage with some practice and now I'm 100% glad that this is the bra I choose...for ease of use, support and comfort. The Bravado nursing bra is the best one I've ever tried, and I've bought about 10 nursing bras in my 4 years of nursing. I kept buying cheaper bras at Motherhood and Target. Most had some underwire (which is not good when your nursing, it has potential to clog your milk ducts), there was NO padding and very little actual support. The Bravado was totally different. The moment I put it on, my back felt support unlike it's felt in years. The removable padding is perfect for keep embarrassing moment at bay (but you still should wear breast pads if you have a strong let down other than when you are nursing). Some people complain of being able to see the padding through your shirts. If I notice that happen, then I take a moment to adjust the padding so it fits the shape of my chest better. Then, you can't see the padding again. It has honestly never been a problem. I HIGHLY recommend this product to any woman nursing their babies. The snaps are a little high and sometimes hard for me to snap closed with one hand, but that is a small, small price to pay for a product that is otherwise flawless...supportive...and protective. I bought a second Bravado within a day of receiving my first. BUY this product! This is the best nursing bra out there! I've tried a few others and hands down this one is the best. I wash and hang dry mine and still looks like new. Very comfortable and the one hand snap open design is awesome. I do recommend buying it one size larger cause they do run small. I'm at 36C and I bought a Large and fits perfectly. When you start to lose weight, you can adjust the bra with it's 4 level hooks. I would recommend it to all my friends and family. =) |

Easy Expression Bustier Hands-free Pumping Bra Average Rating: ![]() ReviewsMy life is so much easier now that I have this bra. I can take care of the baby is he is fussing or relax and read while I pump if he is asleep. They should recommend this bra in all classes for women that plan on nursing! I read the other reviews about size issues, but I didn't find these problems at all. I have a size large and though I probably could have gone with an extra large, I'd rather err on the side of tight. I use an Ameda Purely Yours pump with the larger size flanges and this bustier has been really helpful. I can easily work on my laptop or hang out with my baby while pumping. Plus since my pump can work with batteries, I can even move around and do a few chores while pumping. I don't know about the other hands-free options that are available, but I'm so happy with the Easy Expression Bustier that I purchased a second. I reviewed the sizing chart and ordered the proper size according to the chart and it is so tight it prevents my milk from flowing. It probably would be very helpful if you can figure out which size to buy. It takes some time to learn how to put the bra on by yourself, but once you get the hang of it, it is pretty easy. I am very glad that I have my hands back. I had no leakage issues and the bra is comfortable. Washing is easy as there are no wires so I just throw it in the washer. The quality is average and I don't think this bra will last very long. But then again, I'm returning to work in 3 months and so would not be using this for very long. The bra is pricy though, and I do wonder how it compares to other hands free nursing bras. I would recommend this product to others. The bustier works fine and well. But if I had to do it again, I'd spend the extra money and get the ones with the strap. I feel more support by having the straps. The bustier makes me feel like it's drooping. |

The Easy Expression Bustier, with its patented zip-front strapless design, lets you achieve hands-free pumping - effortlessly. |
One of the things that I like best about Amazon is that the bras are rated directly by the customers, so that you know exactly what other peoples experiences are when it comes to bras. It gives you a lot more confidence with what you buy. There is always a nursing bras sale at Amazon too.
Some of the things you should look for when it comes to nursing bras are:
What does the lining of the bra look like?
You want the inside of the bra to be smooth soft and seam free. Your nipples will be tender for a while and you want a bra that doesn't rub against them.
What is the nursing fastener like?
You should be able to unhook and rehook the fastener with one hand, because you will need to when you have a hungry, crying baby.
Does the bra have wide supportive straps?
This is really important for fuller busted women. The bra needs to have wide supportive straps so that you can protect both your breasts and your back.
Whatever nursing bra you decide on, be sure to get one that fits correctly. It will make your nursing experience much easier and much more enjoyable. Congratulations on your decision to nurse your infant!
